Reside in the scenery of Aalto, among nature trails, and at the shore of Päijänne.
Welcome to the archipelago of Jyväskylä, Haikka of Muuratsalo, Haikantie 19, to a local family home in the lap of Satasarvinen-mountain and at the seafront of Päijänne.
The house was built at the beginning of 1950 for J.Parviainen’s plywood factory workers. Over the years, the residing families have changed, and now the factory has closed its doors.
The house has been renovated 2019-2020, but the interior decor has inspiration from the beginning of the 1900-century.
Large patio offers an opportunity for sunbathing, barbecuing, or enjoying the view of the lake.
Wood-heated sauna guarantees gentle – or even feisty for the willing – heat.
Pier is available for swimming, cooling off, or just to simmer down while looking at the boats and water transport in the deep of the bay.
A rowboat is available for use at your own responsibility.
Unfortunately, the plot on the slope of Satasarvinen is not accessible. There are plenty of stairs.
The house offers residence for 6-10 people.
